Thai yoga massage, also known as Nuad Borarn, is an ancient practice that promotes relaxation, healing, and peace. It has been described as having yoga done to you. The receiver rests on a comfortable futon and is placed into yoga poses by the giver. Techniques such as stretching, rocking, and compression are used in the session. While Thai does have a reputation for being painful, there are many styles of Thai, and the style that I practice is never meant to cause discomfort.
