“We cannot thank you enough for all the time and patience you have had (with both of us) throughout the last 6 months. We enjoyed Mommy and Me so much and the private sessions were worth every penny. With all the stress involved being a new mom I can not express enough how much we both looked forward to our yoga days…I hope all your students (and babies) appreciate the serenity you bring to their lives. ” — Sandra W.
“I feel like a new person. My senses are officially soothed! Best yoga workshop ever. Beyond grateful.” — Steph R.
“Jessica is amazing! I really credit her for getting me back in shape after my son was born.” —- Tricia G.
“Yoga nidra has cured my insomnia. I know it works because at one point I was not able to go to class for two months in a row, and my sleep problems came back in full force. Unlike online videos or CDs, Jessica’s class is unique because it combines restorative yoga with yoga nidra, which has vastly improved the quality of my sleep as well.” —Dianna S.
“Thank you so much…I loved every minute of it!” —Kathy S.
“Jessica’s Restorative Yoga class works on so many levels.
First, it’s like a “mini-vacation”. I come out of class feeling like I’ve been away for a week in a wonderful resort (without the massive VISA bill). It’s as though my batteries are recharged.
Next, the class is full of “real life” spiritual wisdom. Jessica has many stories describing her experience in dealing with some issue in life. Her honesty in her examples is insightful and quite often hilariously entertaining.
Also each class is a like a mini-college course. In some ways it’s like watching PBS – without the Beg-athons. She has covered “Chakra of the week” or “Hindu Deity of the Week”. It was here that I was introduced to Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha, Kali, and my favorite, the Goddess Sarasvati.
Finally, the classes are really fun and entertaining. Jessica has a great sense of humor and sometimes has me in stiches. But it’s not humor for humor’s sake. Usually the humour came about when discussing some deep philosophical issue. The juxtaposition of profound topic and hilarious side comments is really perfect.
But the best part is the Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is something that is rarely taught in Yoga studios so this is a quite unique thing. It’s a great way to “reprogram one’s brain”. I find that it gets easier to enter into the Yoga Nidra state the more that I do it. It’s really helped me big time! It’s better and cheaper than a therapist or drugs…this part of the class changed me for the better. It is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life (and probably beyond).” —Barry P.
